We had the pleasure of teaming up with our neighbors at Williams Ski & Patio to create a brand film that reflects their unique business. They sell skis in the winter and patio furniture in the summer – how cool is that? One of the most fun parts of this project was getting to scan and work with original Williams ads, some of which are over a century old!
The Process
We got the chance to visit Williams Ski & Patio to dive into the rich history of this local gem. With white gloves on, we flipped through vintage Williams magazine ads from the '80s and even some tent ads from the 1920s! We carefully scanned them so we could bring these nostalgic pieces to life in the film.
Movement
When we blended collage cutouts with modern typography, we created something truly unique – it didn’t feel like any brand film we’d seen before. To make it pop even more, we fine-tuned the animation with sharp match cuts, smooth transitions, and some subtle collage animations to give it that extra flair.
